Rumor: BB11 in Winter still possible!

Hey BB fans!! :-D It's been a long few months since BB has been off the air, but we might not have to wait until Summer of '09 to see the good ol' Big Brother house again!!

Rumor has it that if the 2 new CBS shows "Worst Week" and/or "Gary Unmarried" bomb, then BB11 will start in early Feb as the replacement! Also, BB11 is STILL listed as a "Midseason" show (aka Jan/Feb 2009) on TVguide.com!!

Could it be that BB11 will be this Winter?? It's possible! ;-) Of course, I will keep you updated with the latest in BB news, so stick around!!

Big Brother 11 in Summer of 2009

Well BB fans, I guess this is about as official as official can get...

BB11 will be in the Summer of 2009 as said in the CBS Press Release:



*sigh* :-(

In the meantime, keep checking back here for the latest news on audition dates, audition video clips, casting info, and the most up-to-date info on Season 11 of Big Brother!! :-)

According to the BB11 application...

Well BB fans, still no 100% confirmation on if there will be a Winter Edition of Big Brother again or not. While Allison Grodner has said "next summer" BB11 will air, the application still says...



Plus interviews for BB11 in different cities are scheduled to start soon (before January).

According to TVguide.com, BB11 is still listed as a Fall "mid-season" show (as of Sept. 25th).

So who knows at this point. As always, I will post right here once I find out more info!! :-D

BB11 to start in Summer 2009?

The new word on the street is that BB11 will start in the Summer of 2009, and not in Feb. 2009 as previously rumored.

While TVguide.com is still showing Big Brother 11 as a "Mid Season" Fall show, Gretchen Massey of Housecalls on CBS.com released this statement via mass email on Sept. 19th, 2008:

"Overall, a nice ending to a great season. And best of all, it was announced that there absolutely will be a BB11 next summer, so we have that to look forward to."

There's no question that Big Brother was (of course) picked up for another season, but WHEN we will see it is a different question. I think if there's another writers strike this Fall/Winter, then you can pretty much count on BB11 starting in Feb. If not, then it'll probably back in its Summer time slot.

Updated: A source just informed me that a friend of his works for CBS and he said that BB11 will start in Feb.!! Is this true? I'm not sure. It's from a source that found me online and told me that. So for now, it's just a rumor, but we'll see!! ;-)

BB11: When will it start?

Okay, so TvGuide.com is reporting Big Brother 11 to be a mid-season (in the Fall) show. What does that mean? Well, as far as I can tell, that would mean that Big Brother 11 will start sometime in January or February.
